Si vous avez l'opportunité de visiter la Costa Brava ne manquez pas une visite a cette ville, qui possède le charme des grandes villes mais sans la foule. Comme tous le coins de la Costa Brava, Gerone est une ville à échelle humaine, pour flâner à votre gré: activités culturelles, festivals, évènements... Sans doute Gerone est la ville de la zone Costa Brava avec plus d'offres pendant toute l'année.
Gérone possède quelques monuments de valeur historique énorme. Le vieux quartier est un d'eux. Sa muraille carolingienne permet accéder à des vues spectaculaires sur la ville et ses alentours. Elle offre une promenade par le chemin de ronde, qui ceinture le Centre Historique par l'est.
La Cathédrale combine des différents styles (XIe-XVIIe) et elle conserve encore des éléments du premier bâtiment roman (cloître, tour de Charlemagne). Cet cathédrale a la nef voûté avec l'espace le plus grande du monde. Une des images la plus emblematique de Gérone est formé par les Maisons sur l'Onyar. Ces sont des maisons peintes de couleurs vives construits le long du fleuve Onyar (qui traverse la ville).
Très connue est aussi le Call (Quartier Juif), un des mieux conservés de l'Europe. Le Centre Bonastruc Sa Porta est le musée et centre documental principal de cet important héritage historique. Un autre point d'attraction architectonique de la ville est protagonisé par le style lombard (s.XII). Sant Nicolau , temple roman, a nef unique avec un cimborium octogonal. Juste en face vous trouvez le Monastère de Sant Pere Galligants, avec des chapiteaux de l'église et le cloître de remarquable beauté.

Nice staffs, the girl in the reception is just amazing. She helped me a lot. Also there is elevator and laundry room, the hostel is well-equiped. Breakfast is good with cereal and milk, toast and fruit. It's nice to stay there. Since there is no window in the bathroom the smell is kind of terrible. But I don't know if other rooms will be better or not. |

The breakfast was really good, the common rooms and a roof is comportable. The hostel has a lovely atmosphere, I stayed here for 16 days. I got extra blanket for the night when I asked for. Since there is no heating in the rooms, it could be cold during winter nights. |

El servicio desde mi llegada fue muy cordial y amable. La terraza, el baño privado para determinadas habitaciones como la mía, el desayuno y las instalaciones comunes muy limpias y agradables. El silencio es importante cuando viajas y respetar el descanso de los demás. Buen ambiente en la habitación entre desconocidos. The hostel is easy to reach both from the bus and train station and from the old town, so we really liked its location. The room and the en suite bathroom were very clean and comfortable and the staff was very nice, energetic and helpful. The windows in the room couldn't be opened: they were left ajar and blocked by a small chain at their top while air conditioning didn't seem to be working. |

Редко пишу комментарии,но решился. Отель мне ученье понравился. Было тихо,спокойно,не сравнить даже вс Хостелом Primavesa в Барселоне. Мне очень понравилось тишина,свобода,спокойствие,веранда,возможность готовить , свобода,которую чувствуешь.Конечно не пять,даже не три звезды.Но мне есть с чем сравнить. Душный хостел в Барселоне или этот милый хостел в Жероне.Будь мой выбор-жить в Жироне или Барселоне-выберу этот. Потому что там ты чувствуешь себя человеком. Не смотря на цену. Обязательно вернусь. От Жироны можно на автобусе доехать до тихого хорошего пляжа Sant Feliu Оказалось, что в номере 2 2х-этажные кровати, и они не сдвигаются. Кухонька маленькая, не очень удобно. La limpieza e higiene, la atención por parte del personal y en general todo. Eché en falta una mesita en la habitación, para tomar notas y ver los mapas e información de Girona. Comenté con una chica de recepción y me contestó que uno de los objetivos de los Hostels es promover la relación de las personas hosperadas y esas notas e informaciones las podía tomar en el comedor comentando con otras personas; creo que esa razón no es del todo convicente, a veces necesitamos nuestro espacio íntimo. La verdad es que en otros Hostels tampoco he encontrado mesitas en las habitaciones. |

Il mio letto era su un caminetto (spento) di 2mq di superficie. Bagno in camera! Alloggi spaziosi. Bella sala comune, con tv in posizione alta e tanti giochi di società. Colazione discreta. Le lenzuola (incluse nel prezzo) non venivano date a tutti d'amblée, ma bisognava chiederle esplicitamente. |

Хороший варіант для тих, чий літак прибуває опівночі в аеропорт Жирони. Квиток на автобус 2,75 евро, їде лише 25 хв. Хостел у самісінькому центрі, за 5-7 хв ходи від вокзалу. Поселятись можна хоч о другій ночі. Гарне місце, біля річки. Сніданок базовий, але нормальний. Німцям би м'яса та яєць забракло)) У номері на двох, на жаль, немає фена, мила, гелів для душу чи шампуня. Беріть зі собою. |

Buona posizione per girare a girona a piedi..vicino alle mura.aperto 24ore con ragazzi giovani che ti danno tutte le informazioni neccessarie.nel prezzo e"inclusa la colazione..buona nel complesso la pulizia.stanza grande cn l"essenziale.del resto nn ci si puo aspettare di piu da un ostello Lavandino piccolissimo |

Hostel w świetnym położeniu, bardzo blisko dworca. Cudowny widok z tarasu. Miła obsługa. I śniadanie w cenie. Ciemny pokój (mimo zapalonego światła w pokoju półmrok - przydałaby się większa lampa). Niezbyt czysto w pokoju. |

The receptionist was lovely, there were lots of people there but she always remembered my name. A Family arrived at the same time as me and were clearly looked after well, even offered to store bicycles inside. The roof terrace has beautiful views over the heart of girona and is large enough for private conversations. i could perhaps suggest a vending machine, i arrived on easter sunday with very few shops open, to buy a few beers would have been nice. I know girona well, but other people may not be keen to explore winding side streets to buy something. |

But there are nice cafes and a superb bakery nearby which I recommed more than the breakfast in the hostel. It would be good to have a cheaper Option therefor without breakfast. |

Friendly staff, location (right in the centre of the city), price, nice breakfast included, well-designed common area with internet and computers. Nice atmosphere overall. Recommended! Very small sink in the bathroom( No lockers for drawers - you should bring your own or buy one at the reception for 3€. |
